About Leah Ryals

Born and raised in Georgia in a family where real estate was part of everyday life, Leah Ryals grew up as the daughter of a home builder and developer. Construction sites, custom builds, neighborhood plans, rental management and even the lending side of things were all familiar territory early on through the family business. This left her with an eye not just for the finished house, but for the ideas, planning, and craftsmanship that turn a set of lots into a real community. 

 
Alongside that, Leah brings more than seven years of legal experience, with a major focus on probate and estate administration. She’s worked in private practice and also served as a Clerk of the Probate Court, experience that shows up in how she handles transactions, organized, detail-minded, and steady when the paperwork gets complicated. Helping families move through estate-related situations is a particular priority for her, and she approaches that work with both care and clear, informed guidance. 
 
Savannah has been her home for over ten years now. With strong ties to the Historic District, and plenty of time spent on Tybee Island through years of work and day-to-day life, she knows the area in a way that goes beyond the surface. Savannah’s history, architecture and charm are a big part of what she loves about living here, and they’re also what drive her to help others find a home that feels right for them. 
 
Her path to real estate has included a mix of experiences that still shape how she works today. She started out as a professional trainer in the horse industry, where patience, discipline, and trust weren’t optional, they were the job. Later came work in hospitality, journalism, and photography, including photography studies at the Savannah College of Art and Design. Those roles strengthened her communication skills and her sense of how to tell a story, present a property, and connect with people. 
 
Now, as a licensed real estate professional with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Bay Street Realty Group, Leah brings together her background in homebuilding, law, and Savannah living to guide clients through buying and selling with a thoughtful, well-informed approach. From a first home to a major transition, or a deal with extra layers, she stays focused on being the steady, trusted point of support from start to finish.
